Antique Glass display case front view

I began designing the Redwine Gun Display Cabinet when I received a call from a potential client asking for a piece that would display a particular rifle. Having never designed such a piece (being from England), I was eager to explore the challenge. I wanted to create a cabinet that would properly display the rifle but also complement the beauty of the rifle. This piece is made of sipo mahogany and bird’s eye maple. The cabinet is built with traditional mortise and tenons. It is shown here with through wedged tenons and hand cut dovetails on the drawers.
